Buying a pony or horse is a big step, and something most people do rarely. Years of breeding, buying, schooling and selling horses and ponies have taught me what to look for — and I am glad to help you through this exciting process.
Looking beyond nice photographs
The most important thing in the search for a horse or pony is that rider and horse genuinely suit each other. A good horse is not automatically the right horse.
So when buying, I look beyond nice photographs, good movement or competition results. Character, rideability, health and experience matter just as much to me. That experience is exactly why I started offering purchase guidance. I see how hard it can be to make a good choice among all the adverts, videos and sales talk — particularly when you do not buy a horse or pony often.
